These are decoys in various stages of completion. The picture with the crows shows some pintail heads and completed pintails (in primer) in the background, The goose is real and is used for authenticity.
There are two pictures of swans-unpainted and painted. They are not completed, needing bills and eyes.
The goose is shown in an aggressive stance-as if being threatened-they put their heads down and hiss!
The last picture shows Red Breasted Mergansers-in a swimming position. They are freshly painted and drying(I use oils). The brown- headed ones are females.
