Pennsylvania is the Greatest! I love this state!
Around 1925 a few dozen elk from Wyoming were released in Elk County (north central location) near a small town called Benezette
The elk thrived and today they number about 1400. They are presently in the rut (breeding mode) and bulls are calling and fighting for females. Today my friend Dennis and I saw a bull within five feet of our truck.
They have a wonderful visitor's center and several viewing areas. Go for a visit-you won't be disappointed!
