Three Generations-Playing in the Mountains

There is no better bonding-the beauty and isolation of the mountains-plus the absence of cell phones, TV

, etc.

The rules are simple-they practically don't exist.  You can get as dirty and wet as you like- eat hot dogs and chips, etc-. just concentrate on important things like skipping stones, playing follow the leader, and riding through the deepest mud!

You can go "home" again-SHIP Alumni Weekend

Some classified ads read, For a Good Time call  Bambi at .... (so my friends tell me).   My ad would read, "For the Best Time ever, go to Alumni Weekend at SHIP"   (if you are an alumnus)!

We stayed in new dorms, complete with lounges and fitness centers.  The committee did an excellent job with every activity you could imagine-golf outings, ice cream socials, seminars on fun things like painting and brewing beer plus some happening parties.  Friday eve they sponsored a Pub Crawl complete with  buses .  I believe I was the oldest "Crawler" attending!
I wanted to make sure
I made it back to the dorm, so I reworked my name tag.
A group of sorority sisters asked if I pledged a fraternity.  I said TKE and they said wow-were you one of the founding fathers.  I answered yes-my friend George Washington and I were the founders.  Life is short-HAVE FUN!
