How so you impress a young boy on his 7th birthday?

You have a party with a theme-he invited a few of his friends to a "police party".  Everyone had a badge and thanks to some kind Quakertown Police Officers, they had an actual visit-complete with flashing lights and an explanation of the equipment.

Phase two was a three day trip to a mountain cabin through the generosity of our friend , Dennis.

Highlights included riding ATV's, shooting guns, hitting golf balls in the river and then wading for them. Next was a trip to the County Fair ending with a camp fire and marshmallows! Good Times!

What happens when you don't use your camper!

My friend Dennis and I found this abandoned camper on the mountain in Clearfield County.  We were shocked when we opened the door-it was a "Hilton" for snakes.

Lost River Caverns-It's 95 degrees and humid-What to do with the Grand kids-take them to a constant 52 degrees-a cave!!

The cavern has an underground "river" -the interesting part is they never could find where the water exits.  They tried dyes and other markers-nothing???

Another interesting point is the water level-this year we have had a lot of rain.  They have pumps running full time to keep the cave passable.

I packed my motorcycle and rode across the top of Pennsylvania on Rt 6.  It's a beautiful road and should be on everyone's bucket list.

Springs State Park -one of the best places in USA to see stars.  Folks come from all over to star gaze.  No lights in area produces a dark sky!

Home Sweet Home-love to camp!

I left Renova and couldn't find a place to eat-had to have a little jerky and trail mix for dinner (not a problem a person can be a lot happier if they "go with the flow"!

This bridge was call the 8th wonder of the world in it's day!

The fun  in biking is always eat and drink  local. You meet a lot of fun characters!
